COVID-19 Statement and Policies
The health and safety of everyone who enters CNYCA is my highest priority. I take this responsibility very seriously and have implemented additional policies based on CDC recommendations. Of course, this is a situation that seems to be changing by the hour but I will try to stay open as long as I am allowed to do so. Here are the actions that I am currently taking:
While diligence is essential at this time, it is also imperative that we try to keep our stress levels low. Stress depresses the immune system and right now, we need our immune systems working as well as possible. Here are some of the things my family and I regularly use:

- My schedule will be limited to allow for only 1 person per treatment room and allow me time to sanitize surfaces in each room between patients. If family members wish to come in together, they will be allowed to share a room. For now, the "community" part of community acupuncture will give way for social distancing.
- Extra linens will not be kept in private rooms or beside chairs in community rooms. If you need a towel or blanket, I will get one for you. Any and all linens will be washed and sanitized after each use.
- Common area clinic surfaces will be disinfected regularly.
- The curtains on the community rooms and in the entryway have been removed as they are difficult to repeatedly sanitize. We will have to be quieter in the common areas to ensure that the treatment rooms remain as peaceful as possible.
- Of course, I will be washing my hands and using hand sanitizer constantly. With that, even though I can vouch for the surfaces in my office, I cannot do the same for bathrooms or building entry doors. Please, feel free to use my sink to wash your hands or to use my hand sanitizer anytime you would like.
- Cancellation fees will be waived at this time as if you are feeling ill or you don't feel comfortable coming in, the best thing for you is to stay home.
While diligence is essential at this time, it is also imperative that we try to keep our stress levels low. Stress depresses the immune system and right now, we need our immune systems working as well as possible. Here are some of the things my family and I regularly use:
- Elderberry Syrup
- Zinc
- Vitamin C - we use a blend of powdered rosehips, amla and acerola
- Vit D3 and K2
- High-dose Iodine
- Selenium
- Colloidal Silver
